This recipe is based on the "Deception Cream Stout" recipe on Home Brew Talk. I had noticed my LHBS carried Lactose for a while now and wanted to try a recipe with Lactose in it. Just my luck though, by the time I decided to do that, they ran out. I used Maltodextrin instead.

Thankfully, the beer turned out creamy enough even without the lactose. It had a subtle coffee taste, medium body and overall a classic stout feel to it. Force carbonation went much better than with my first kegged beer. My friends kept going for more and we finished at least half of the keg on one night.
